Tachographs, incident data recorders and journey recorders

Tachograph
Both analogue tachograph charts and digital tachograph memories store information about the vehicles speed, distance travelled and time.  This data can be analysed to provide information as to a vehicles behavior leading up to a collision including speed, acceleration, deceleration etc.  It also allows route tracing to be carried out to establish where a vehicle has been.

Incident data recorders
We can analyse the information from most incident data recorders provide information as to a vehicles behavior leading up to a collision including speed, acceleration, deceleration etc.

Journey recorders
All satellite navigation systems retain data including journeys information. Depending on the system we are able to extract this information and provide written reports containing information as to a vehicles behavior leading up to a collision.  Please note that it does depend on the system as to what data can be extracted.
