AiDamage is just one of the programs within
Collision Suite which relies heavily on fairly complex physical
principles for its operation. In addition the user input must be accurate before you
can rely on the results produced. AiDamage is based on the Crash3 algorithms there are
however some important differences which will affect the measurements you take.
Some form of training is essential if you are to
gain much benefit from AiDamage. The level of training needed will of course vary
dependent upon your existing knowledge of collision theory and at what level you want to
operate.
The Advanced course builds on the knowledge gained
during the operators course and is aimed at those with a good level of maths and
physics. This Course develops an understanding of the main process features,
derivation of the algorithms used and validation of the results. This
course also looks at the principles behind DeltaView.
