All our road policing training is designed with
your specific needs in mind. We can deliver courses on most aspects of UK
traffic law, including European tachograph legislation.
We teach a full range of traffic skills courses
from our Birdlip training facility. Many of our courses are also designed to be
delivered in your force.
The objectives of the Road Policing Course are;
- to provide the new road policing officer with the
underpinning knowledge of traffic law
- to develop the new road policing officers skills in
relation to the detection of offences committed by the drivers of large
goods and passenger vehicles
- to promote inter agency co-operation
- to develop safe practice
